New Paltz Moon

$30.00

Color print on 9 x 12" paper. A one day old moon sets behind the Albert K. Smiley Memorial Tower on Skytop, formerly known as Paltz Point, in New Paltz on the evening of Saturday June 3. Earthshine, light reflected off the earth to the moon, is clearly visible, outlining the whole moon. The tower, presented in 1923, is named after one of the founders of the Mohonk Mountain House (which is located on the other side of ridge). Karl Rabe Photo.
